One Eleuthera in Drupal 7 and CiviCRMAs part of my dissertation, I've been working with a community development foundation on the Family Island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas to develop ICT for shared heritage development. The goal of the site is to network multiple stakeholders (including local residents and business owners, diasporic community members, second homeowners, developers, policymakers, and tourists) around important issues, especially those focused on planning concerns related to the tourism industry. Using Drupal 7 and CiviCRM, I've been building a community communication tool that faciliates the foundation's educational and fundraising goals. Additionally, I've been providing on site and remote training to build local capacity for the sustainability of the project. |

Cake Kisses in Drupal 7Cake Kisses, a cottage bakery and caterer in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, wanted an easy-to-update site where flavors, rates, and events could be listed and potential clients could be in touch. I used Drupal to interface with Mailchimp so the owner could easily link her mailing lists with her website inquiries. I also refined the brand identity - bringing a bit of fun and whimsy to the graphic design and logo. |

NEAA website & conference systemThe Northeastern Anthropological Association wanted to replace their wordpress blog with a static website and to support conference registration online. An unusual graphic design combined with a modern color palette brought the site out of the '90s. We experimented with the Open Conference System site to handle web management of their annual conferences for two years before I rebuilt the conference and membership management tools using Drupal 7 and CiviCRM, which launched November 2011. |

UMass Amherst Center for Heritage & Society website, XHTML & CSSThe UMass Amherst Center for Heritage & Society needed a website, which would establish their graphical identity. I adapted a web template the Center had purchased previously and incorporated an image representing cultural heritage (both literally in terms of material culture and figuratively in terms of the weaving together of individual elements to create a whole). A professional, typographic logo and color palette that integrated the UMass Amherst maroon set the tone for this new research center. |
